Towards the salaries over three years of the Training Co-ordinator and Admin Worker to expand the educational opportunities of people in the Bridgend area. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Campbeltown Waste Watchers Limited - £25,000
Towards the salaries and core costs of a recycling programme which will develop employment and personal development opportunities for those with special needs and who are disadvantaged. Funded jointly by Social Development and Environment.
Children's Music Workshop - £90,000
Towards the costs of a programme to explore the challenges facing children and teachers in rural areas. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Education.
Clean Break Theatre Company - £100,000
Towards the core costs over two years of a project to provide education, training and creative opportunities to women, including those with an offending or mental health background. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage, Education and Social Development.
Company of Angels Ltd. - £19,555
Towards the costs of training two young directors and primary school teachers working towards a production in the South East. Funded jointly by Education and Arts & Heritage.
Dance United - £96,909
Towards the project costs over three years of delivering an annual four week dance performance project for young people with special learning needs. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Education.
Eastside Young Leaders' Academy - £91,456
Towards the salary over two years of a Project Manager to improve the aspirations and educational attainment of African Caribbean boys at risk of social exclusion in Newham, London. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Engage - £90,000
Towards the costs over three years of promoting enhanced public understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Education.
Family Welfare Association - £100,000
Towards the costs over two years of taking over National NEWPIN's work with vulnerable families. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Friends of the General Cemetery - £20,000
Towards the salary over two years of a Project Manager to develop plans for the restoration of a Grade II* listed chapel for community use. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Environment.
Grandparents Plus - £120,256
Towards the salary of the Chief Executive to raise awareness of the contribution the extended family makes to raising children. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Heads, Teachers & Industry - £50,000
Towards the salary and costs of a Project Leader and costs of a pilot project for headteachers in the West Midlands that aims to reduce energy use and waste production in schools. Funded jointly by Education and Environment.
Helmsley Walled Garden - £20,000
Towards the capital costs of restoring the Victorian vinery and orchard glasshouses. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Environment.
Parenting Education & Support Forum - £150,000
Towards the salary and costs over two years of a Co-ordinator to enable parents to learn skills, contributing to education and employment opportunities. Funded jointly by Education and Social Development.
Radio for Development - £41,590
Towards the salary of a Co-ordinator of the Prison Radio Outreach Programme to build on the experience of Wandsworth prison radio by developing links between prisons and local communities and provide progression opportunities for prisoners. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Razor Edge Theatre Initiative - £150,000
Towards the costs over three years of establishing the first degree course in theatre performance and workshop practice for students with learning difficulties. Funded jointly by Education and Social Development.
RETAS Refugee Education & Training Advisory Service - £70,877
Towards the salary and costs over three years of a part-time worker to support refugees wishing to set up their own businesses. Funded jointly by Education and Social Development.
Skill - £80,000
Towards the salary and costs over three years of a Policy Officer to work on breaking down barriers facing disabled people in accessing further and higher education. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Sunderland Association Football Club Foundation - £100,000
Towards the salaries over three years of two Youth Workers for the Kickstart project, which tackles barriers to education through football. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
The Samling Foundation - £75,000
Towards the costs over three years of the expansion of the 'Masterclass Programme', the development of a new 'Opera & Contemporary Music Programme' and work with gifted and talented school children. Funded jointly by Arts & Heritage and Education.
UnLtd - The Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs - £35,200
Towards the costs over three years of supporting the roll-out of a Radio for Development pilot prison radio project. Funded jointly by Social Development and Education.
Wessex Reinvestment Trust - £130,000
Towards the salary over two years for a Food Links Officer and the costs of a revolving loan fund to support local food, agriculture and environmental enterprises. Funded jointly by Environment and Social Development.
