Meeting Room Facilities

Meeting room facilities in our central London office are available for current grant recipients to book, free of charge. Our office in Kings Place, is a five minute walk from Kings Cross/St. Pancras International. The building contains concert halls, galleries, a café and restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Regent’s Canal.

We have two meeting rooms available, the Esmée Room and the Ian Room. These rooms can be combined to create one larger room. Click here for images of the rooms.

Capacity: 16 - 20 people can sit comfortably around a table in a boardroom layout in each room. Theatre style, with a top table for speakers, 40 people can be accommodated. Receptions can host up to 40 – 50 people.

To be fair to all our grant-holders, we can only take two room bookings per an organisation at a time.

Equipment
The following equipment is usually available (you will be asked to confirm what equipment you require at the time of booking):

• Projector, computer and laptop connection
• DVD
• Flipchart and pens

The rooms have wi-fi access to the internet.

Please note if you intend to bring your own PC or MAC while we rarely experience compatibility problems we cannot guarantee that your laptop will cooperate with our projector. Should you rely on a presentation for the purpose of your meeting, please either come in to test this in advance or make it available in a format that can be trasnsferred to our PC (Windows 7, Office 2009).

We are unable to offer you the use of photocopier, telephone and fax.

Access for people with disabilities
The rooms are wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible toilet close to the meeting rooms.

Layout
Organisations will be responsible for any necessary furniture shifting to prepare a room at the beginning of a booking and for returning it to its original layout at the end.

Transport
We encourage all users of our office to use public transport or non-car options where practical.

The nearest car park is St Pancras International (NCP: 1 hour £6.00, 2 hours £8.00, 3 hours £10.00). There is very limited meter street parking on some local roads. Kings Place is outside the Central London Congestion Charging Zone.

Catering facilities
A kitchen is available where organisations can prepare drinks. The Foundation provides tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and drinking water for groups to make themselves as and when they like throughout the day.
