We are launching an exciting new strategy for May 2020 and we are recruiting for an important new role: Director of Our Natural World to help us deliver our vision. The post will be a member of our Senior Management Team.
We believe that we need bold action and impact like never before when it comes to protecting our natural world, so, in addition to funding brilliant organisations we will work alongside partners and collaborators to remove barriers and secure progress ourselves, using our voice to quietly influence and effect change.
The Director of Our Natural World will lead our highly-skilled environment team (currently three posts) and work collaboratively with colleagues across the Foundation and with external organisations, building on and developing our work to deliver the new strategy. We are looking for a thoughtful and creative candidate who is a skilful influencer with a wide network, knowledge of the environment and food worlds and a track record of successful project delivery.
We would love to hear how you would approach the role.

As part of an ambitious new strategy to be launched later in 2020, we are also recruiting a Communications Manager to deliver and develop a communications plan to:
Support organisations with brilliant ideas who are working to secure a fairer future for the next generation and strengthen the bonds in communities in the UK; and
Work ourselves to remove barriers and secure progress in protecting our natural world, using our voice to quietly influence policy and effect change.
As part of our communications and learning team you will be the Foundation’s eyes and ears, as well as its voice. You will work with staff, external partners, and the organisations we fund using a range of communications tools and approaches in order to add value to, and support our strategy.
We are looking for someone with direct experience of using communications or campaigning to make a change in the sectors we support. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have been involved in influencing local or national government policy, corporate practice or behaviour change.
If you are a passionate and level-headed communications professional with a track record in making a difference for the environment or social justice, we would love to hear how you could support our work.
